LONG WIRE 200' @ 30' AVERAGE HEIGHT. FT-1K AND N1MM LOGGER.
Enjoyed Friday night. Noise level at my QTH was lower that normal. Still I
could tell many east coast stations were there but not readable. S&P most of
the time but had one nice run late Friday/early Saturday after being spotted by
two kb'ers. What a difference a spot makes. Hey, that sounds like a nice title
for a song!
I was surprise after being spotted that many of the strong east coast station
that I couldn't work while S&P called me.
Tried for a short time Saturday evening but the noise was up and both S&P and
CQ'ing didn't produce many contacts. Basically, everyone I could hear I had
worked Friday night.
