Comments:
A pretty stinko weekend from a propogation standpoint. There were only five
hours of any decent rate for the entire weekend. And that's being generous
(i.e., 40/hr or more). Everything else was simply pressing the F1 key and
grinding out marginal QSOs or locals.
Saturday night 01Z-02Z W1/W2 was in with very good signals. This is not a
common occurrence from this QTH due to the distances involved. Three of the
last four hours, we had sporadic propogation to various areas in the southern
half of the USA.
ONly a handful of DX stations were worked. Doug missed DC, KY and CA (!), most
of Canada and a most of the Pacific Northwest. It's a telling sign of a poor
propogation weekend when the last hour produces far and away the best rate.
Everything at the station worked without a hitch. Now we just need some
propogation!
