Comments:
I was only able to operate the last 6 hours of the contest but
had fun even if the bands were far from great. I operated mostly
CW but did venture to SSB in an attempt to get a few more needed
multipliers.
While I was tuning for multipliers on SSB, I ran across a big
signal which was AG5Z, Larry. I made a contact with Larry which
gave me my final state needed to complete my Triple Play award!
I missed the following; NT, NL, NU, and YT.
Very slow going and could not get any good rates going as my best
was a very brief 116 QSO's per hour. Average was less than half
of that.
Had to find my good luck charm when N4ZZ sent me 666 as an exchange.
Weather started out Friday night at 25 below zero and ended up at
14 above zero at the end of the contest. The winds are bringing
50+ mph gusts and warmer temps yet once again. This created a bit
of noise which led to a few more repeat requests.
