Comments:
Got a little playtime in on 15 meters before it went bye-bye. If there was an
opening on 10 meters out west, I missed it altogether. 20m was a zoo, but I
was glad to see contesters meticulously avoiding the emergency traffic
frequencies. 75 meters was a pleasant surprise. Though it seemed like everyone
vacated 40m simultaneously for 75m, the cacophany eventually gave way to really
decent conditions and enough wiggle room in places to conduct a decent run.
160m was underwhelming. Can't remember when I had such a pleasant time in a
contest -- never heard any verbal wrestling between non-contesters and
contesters, and the deliberate-interference squad on 75 meters was wimpy. All
in all, good fun thanks to polite behavior. Holy cow -- is that coming back
into vogue?
