Comments:
This was suppose to be a Multi op operation, but the wx didn't cooperate. I have
about 1/2" of ice on all my antennas - I trimmed my west sloper to bring SWR
down, I didn't cut just pulled wire through insulator and wrapped back up
-nonetheless my usable bandwidth was way down - let's see what happens when it
melts! High power is a blast worked 98 stations between 2200 and 2300 first
night. just a bit less than 9 hours op time, I have been installing the
upgrades(mod kits)in my first K3 all my other antennas are SWR off the
chart until the thaw! Maybe Multi Next year for this one! I don't know about
work tommorrow - I can't even get out of the driveway! Thanks for the Q's
