Comments:
About half the score from last year. Mostly because Europe couldn't hear
me this year very well. Called many with no luck and had a full band of
Europe past my Sunrise well into daylight both days. Cqing didn't work
either trying different freqs. Band was packed with stations from 1.801
to 1.900 all night but getting good rate only happened for a few hours
and lots of Cq's before and after the big runs. Many hours of a dozen Q's
or less rate but that's topband from Alaska.
Station is Icom 781/QRO HF-2500Dx with a series fed 142 foot vertical
made from Rohn 25 tower with an insulated base on a cliff edge. Band
was very quite here so seldom had to use the beverages this contest.
