Comments:

A GREAT contest on a favorite band! 57 Total 10-pt Q's and 47 5-pt Q's (11 NA
DX + 36 VE) and 95 total mults. Put in alot of chair time for me: 9+ hrs each
eve/night with a few hrs during daylight. US/VE missed: LA, ND (again!), and
SD; LB, NU, NWT and YU. Quiet condx Fri but weak EU sigs...bad storm static
crashes Saturday but better/longer EU sigs near/at their S/R. Thanks to all
the distant ops who copied my low power/low altitude compromise antenna
signal.

Many thanks to all for the Q's and patience with repeats with QSB, QRN and my
occasional dead-air time when keyboard/software flummoxed!

Equipment: (old) Icom-737 (in need of filter improvements) at 100w; primary
tx/rx ant - 3/8 wvl Inv L sloping 36' vert/150' horiz wire and 18 gnd radials
mostly 1/8 wvl; secondary rx ant - short 210' unterminated Beverage on ground
(BOG) aiming ENE/WSW.

QTH: Topband-challenged 100' x 200' suburban lot at 115' ASL; relatively quiet
noise level ("I can hear 'em but can't always work 'em"!).

Thanks to all for the Q's...it was fun being "in the fray" again on 160m.

73, Bill W1WBB
