Comments:
The bands are definitely better than anytime in the past few years. Had a
spectacular JA opening Friday night and Saturday morning (local time). Saturday
night was a bust due to an event I had to attend, and when I came back, 40 was
mediocre. A took a nap and when I came back the Chinese radar was all over the
place. I managed to blow up my 80 meter antenna, so I went to bed.
Sunday morning brought a massive opening to EU like I haven't seen in years!
The band seemed to opened better for the west coast than the east since I was
able to bust 'the wall' with no problem. Worked more than 4 solid hours of EU.
Best DX: The Gambia.
Weirdest call sign: PA100BEVER. Something about that just sounds wrong!
I had a great time and beat last year's score by 67%.
