I had 2 goals at the start of this contest. I wanted to make 1,000 contacts and
score 1 million points. I was able to exceed both goals, despite problems. On
Friday night, my rotor stuck and I was unable to turn my antenna for the
duration of the contest. Luckily, it was pointed at Europe when it quit! I have
been slowly working on building my station into an SO2R configuration for RTTY.
I am using a 43 foot vertical for the second radio, and have not installed band
pass filters yet, so I do have some interference. All in all, I am very happy
with the results.
