Comments:

Last week I stayed longer on 40 than condx warranted, this week it was the
opposite - I think I went to 80 a few minutes too early, as 40 was in pretty
good shape and 80 was a bit empty when I got there. But great activity levels
and everyone was spread out - other than for an odd few minutes on 80 where it
seemed like everyone one was jammed within the same 5 khz.

I tried a bit of SO2V with the sub-rx on the new K3 - after I lost a jump ball,
I'd switch the other VFO to tune but keep listening as the QSO I missed out on
proceeded. The resulting discombobulation probably outweighed any real gain -
YN2DD called me during one of my tries at it and I had to "AGN" him. But, hey -
that's what NS is for.
