Comments:

I arrived in St. Vincent from UK late on Wednesday night, so setting the station
up was a race against time, with much outside work in the scorching sun! Even
the tower was in storage and had to be brought to the site and erected.

Antennas erected were an A3S on a 30ft tower, an R8 Vertical and dipoles for
80m and 40m. The 80m dipole had loading coils for 160m as usual.

Rig was an IC7000, and logging was courtesy of N1MM.

Unfortunately the LF antennas went up on the Friday and it was only after the
Contest start that I found a huge problem on 160m - QRM over the whole band at
S9+50! This prevented any 160m activity. This is a new problem at this location
- I will start investigations today as I hope to do some TopBand DX-ing.

Otherwise all went well, great to have 10m activity this year. The first night
was seemingly the better on LF, but perhaps the problem on the second was my
tiredness - still jet-lagged!
