Comments:

What a great time - 15m was great (finally)! This time included a personal best
75 Qs in the 1200Z hour Saturday AM, all on 20m and amazingly all search &
pounce - I didn't know I could even DO that! Thanks to all the EU stations for
listening hard for me. About ten attempts at getting a run going all failed
(wasted an hour in total and got 3 Qs for all that effort), so I was S&Ping the
rest of the time.

Ran the Orion at 5W as usual, and only used the 20/40/80 fan-vee-dipole (fed at
17m) and the 550' horiz. loop (5-20m elevation but fed at 6m). Used the K9AY
loop for receiving - facing SW - usually the wrong way, but still cuts the
noise. Boy, do I Dream of having a tower and beam ... And power ... I wonder
how I'd do if I cranked the Orion up to 90 Watts or so ... Might be like
playing MorseRunner!

Thanks to all - I had a blast, and hope you did, too.
Best rx & 73 de kt8k - Tim
