Comments:
Nice weekend project with my old radio and gears and have a lot of FUN..!
Spent Saturday evening for re-arrangement of my small radio desk, finally my
trust
old IC-706, laptop PC, contest interfaces, small headphone with wires ready to
shot..
Goal was over 300k points with 150 or more mults by basic low power & CW only..
Propagation was much better than last few years and allowed me hold and run the
frequency
sometime even I was real barefoot with simple vertical..
It was suprise that my goal archived too early even before the the time made
turn halfpoint..
20m was great.. I heard and picked up many Russians and other stations signal
from Euro zone
on 20 CW even my small clock displayed three O'clock in the morning..!
(This could not imagine during last few years even the signal came from well
known contest
BIG GUN's..)
Over the morning time on Sunday, most of QSOs between US east coast and
Northern Russia
reheard on 20m.. :-)
15m band was fantastic..!
The band show me the solar cycle clearly on upper slope.. Band crowded and many
DXers
follow their own target with "R TU"..
I could see many stations and make QSOs over whole my Sunday afternoon..
Thanks for all contacts and specially appreciate to contesters picked up my
week signal
with endless patient..
