Comments:

Toys: Yaesu Ft-1000MP + ACOM 1000 amplifier; 15 meter monobander fixed on JA @
61 ft., Bencher Skyhawk fixed east @ 45 ft., and 3-el SteppIR @ 78 ft. Two
tiny toy poodles as station observers and refreshments provided by Bob K8IA.

Enjoyed almost non-stop action during this single-band non-assisted effort, and
had a lot of fun joking around with some of the ops who called. Rising sunspot
numbers provided a good opening to Asia, VK/ZL and Oceana Friday and Saturday,
but JAs were a no-show Sunday afternoon (Monday morning in Japan).
Also glad to see a little more variety in EU morning opening and South America
this test, but no big numbers to report there. During daylight hours, 15
meters was a real zoo, but I enjoy that kind of challenge, so it was all ear
candy to me.
Lost a little time due to computer issues Friday evening, but made up for it by
finding a few good run frequencies during the test. Thanks to dear friends
everywhere, and Arizona Outlaws who came by to give support to the troops --
truly a treat to work WPX this year!
