Comments:
Saturday condisions were good but I was not on for long. Sunday was a BIG
disappointment. Fifteeen never opened to EU and SA was weak. In the afternoon
there was a small opening to SA on 10 but stations were weak, weak, weak.
Luckily I had not planned to make a major effort. It was a chancew to check
out a new 8 position remote antenna switch from DX Engineering and a repaired
quad after winter storms. Four days of 70 degree weather made that possible.
It was also a chance to take a new K3 for a test run at 100 watts without a
voice keyer. It was nice to work old friends I will meet at Dayton and to work
Sudan, Haiti and a few others.
