Brutal conditions here. Sunshine on the pine trees in the back yard doesn't make
for anything useful on 40 or 80, and 20 was quite useless, too. Will try again
next week but if it's like this, it may be a short series at this end. Must be
too far north for 0230z to offer anything other than frustration.
Even tried the old 18AVT/WB vertical on 20M to see how it would work. It wasn't
worth the nuts and bolts holding it to the chainlink fence :)
Used the 40M twin vertical array in forward and omni modes and it didn't get
much either way. The twin 80M verticals couldn't attract anything at this time
of day.
Guess I'll have to keep trying, though, as Thursday nights keep showing up on
the calendar :)
