Comments:

Used this contest to get fellow CTRI CG club member KW2G's call into the SCP
database file AND provide a nice mult for many! It was fun...even with the
onset of the minor geomagnetic storm seriously affecting propagation, esp. on
20m and 15m Saturday.

This was also the first big contest trying out the new 88' doublet up 50+ feet,
fed with bal. line to tuner in shack, and used on 10-80m. Inv L used for the
160m contacts. Doublet has broadside lobes to EU and southwest on 20m acting
as EDZ there. Results seem pretty good so far...

Enjoyed working the many 6 pt Q's on 40m...condx there much less affected than
the poor upper HF bands (no real EU on 15m) though there was some enhancement
on 10m Saturday mid-day with many joining the party there for a while.

It's certainly fun to watch the final point total exponentially increase near
contest's end in WPX! Great, great job by contest director K5ZD and the CQ WPX
gang in promoting this event...FUN!

Thanks to all for the QSOs...

73,

Bill W1WBB
