Comments:
Nice WX + bad propagation + family activities + holiday weekend = Not much
operating time for me. Mostly S&P handing out the KU8 multipler between a
couple times running.
It would be nice if those who run the CQ contests would consider rotating the
SSB and CW weekends every year so the CQWW CW and CQWW WPX CW are not on a
major USA holiday weekend. Or maybe put the CW contests on another weekend. I
know others have suggested this in the past but CQ seems to be set in their
ways. Until this changes I will probably never do FT in this contest even
though I would like to.
I had considered going to PJ4A with K4BAI (My wife gave the OK) but the
airfares were just too high around a holiday weekend, I could have flown to
Bonaire for 1/2 the cost the weekend before/after Memorial Day.
