Propagation what's that !! Was this the WPX contest or a kind of WAE - WPX.
Started with almost 1 hr of delay, N1MM and Winkey would freeze the computer!!!
It had worked flawlessly a week ago during the Baltic contest.
Had to switch to a backup PC which was not updated at all. Lesson learnt for
the future.
First night no 80m antenna. High SWR on the whole band. What's wrong?!@ When we
checked in the morning, the 6 m beam snapped the dipole down. Job was fixed in
just 15 minutes time!!
A few memorable highlights:
WN1GIV on 10m at 22.35Z (00.35 LT) My 1st NA in the log again since December
2004
A lot of SA on 10m
PW7T called us on 80m
Thanks to all for the Q's. Very happy for those who were logged and very sorry
for all others who called in vain or tried very hard.
