Comments:

Strange start. Was able to win the starting jump ball with K6RB on twenty meters
to begin. But the computer locked up and I had to send the exchange to Rob by
hand. Could not go back to the stations which called me then. It took one
minute to reboot. So that was frustrating. The five minute segment contacts
were 11, 15, 12, 10, 8, and only 6 to finish. That 15 in the second five
minutes was perfect and I kept getting answers to my inactive radio CQs and
kept ping-ponging back and forth between twenty and forty. That's as good as it
gets with three per minute! Things went downhill as forty emptied and I had to
slog it out on eighty, where it's hard to hear and harder to be heard.

Thanks for three bands to K6RB, K0EJ, and K8MM. I never made it to 160.

Nice to hear NO5W, the only other Texas station. Where have all the other
home-boyz gone?

Nice planning by N6ZFO to schedule the NS Ladder smack-dab in the middle of the
half of the NBA game. Super planning, Bill.

WF7T was one of the loudest stations on eighty meters. Your antenna is working,
Brad, at least to Austin!

Worked Tor QRP somewhere in NC. Ya' at another banjo festival OM?

Fun as always. The summer QRN on 40 really is hurting me. I had to listen on my
beverages on that band as well as on 80 meters.

Tnx to all and to the 3830 gurus.
