Locate middle Tennessee on the map, and you'll have a pretty good
picture of what the contest was like from here. In short, there
was plenty of down time due to lightning storms. Propagation was
also disappointing, with fewer and shorter DX paths open compared
to last year.
In memory of my late stepfather, Judge Jim McGregor, who died in
May at age 80 in Pittsburgh, PA after a long battle with lung cancer.
