Comments:

This was my 2nd operation of the contest. My original plan was to do a serious
M/2 with K1LZ and I enjoyed Krassy's hospitality and the great camaraderie of
op's K3JO Velimir, N8BO Miki, Mladen NU5Y/YT6W/YU7NU and Cal K0DXC, until I got
very sick. Called it quits at 0530z Saturday when I was having trouble
breathing and I was not getting better. I stayed up talking with Krassy until
dawn, Saturday AM, and then drove the 150 miles back to Connecticut with no
sleep.

I slept 13 of the next 21 hours, felt better and then hooked up part of my
station on Sunday. I got on @ 1627z, just missing the brief EU opening on 15.
Operated 4.4 hours between then and the end of the contest. Had a good run on
40 at the end with my wire "3-square" - one element had broken off.

Even though cndx sucked, it was still fun to operate. Contests - ALWAYS AN
EXPERIENCE! :-)

Tnx for the q's!
