Comments:
FT1000MP, 100W, 88' CF zepp. This was my poorest showing ever in a Thursday
night practice. The band seemed OK during SNS. N3ZZ was particularly loud.
But, by 0230Z the band was about dead here. I felt like I was running 5W to a
wet kite string. I got beat out by almost everybody to almost everybody.
Thanks for the QSOs and I hope for more fun next week. This weekend in IARU HF
Championship, I will be signing the SECC cllub call, W4AN, from the QTH of W8JI.
This will be in memory of my partner for two WRTC competitions, Bill Fisher,
the late W4AN/KM9P/K4AAA. I hope conditions will be good and that the WRTC
competitors will be able to work the world. 73, John, K4BAI.
