Comments:
A real struggle tonight, weak signals, slow operator, big empty
minutes in the log with no QSOs...
Earlier, I spent a lot of time trying to get my new computer
system setup for NS, but still not ready for prime time...
Surprised me to work some Californians on 20m this week,
usually that's too weak a path compared to the East Coast
noisemakers. Anyway, 20m was good with 19 QSOs in 15
minutes. As usual, the crowd thinned and it was time to move.
Still an hour before sunset, but 40m managed 10 QSOs and
a fantastic 7 Mults. Fun to work Colin V31UB and a bunch
of other new calls!
I bailed from 40m to 80m with 3 minutes to go, and worked
a quick 3 x 1 (all local WA). And the last minute provided
1 x 1 on 160m with speedy K7SS.
So my score dropped back under 1,000 pts, but I can't
blame it on anything but my slowww tuning and lags in finding
new stations.
Thanks for being there to provide the fun!
