Comments:
First, I REALLY appreciate all the hard work of the County Expeditions and
Mobiles who traveled so far from home to make sure that all 58 California
Counties would be on the air again this year. Thank you! For those who stayed
home to activate counties that would otherwise have been rare, thank you as
well! You made the contest fun.
For those who are unaware, contacts with NCCC members made during the CQP *do*
count towards the special NCCC 40th Anniversary award: work 40 NCCC members
and you can get a nice certificate.
Details at http://www.nccc.cc/40th.html
As usual I operated 100% CW, and again used N1MM since the CQP isn't supported
by Win-Test. I still used old version 9.10.3 of N1MM, and it still had
glitches (occasionally sending QSO #1 for some reason), but overall it worked
much better for me this time than last time, and I learned more about how to
use it for SO2R (thanks N2IC).
My rates were better on Saturday than last year, but much worse on Sunday, and
I ended up with almost exactly the same QSO total. The high bands had more
QSOs, but the low bands had less.
I finally got a SWEEP on CW, thanks to KK7X in Idaho giving me QSO #11 with
only 40 minutes left in the contest. That was the highlight for sure.
Here is the output of CBS for Windows, which you can download for free from

(Note to Writelog users -- CBSW does not yet recognize the format of Cabrillo
file produced by Writelog; you will need to reformat it with much less white
space).
