Comments:
I operated a little over 10 hours, spread across many separate sessions on three
bands. I had not made a contest plan or set any particular goals. I did find
myself closing in on a sweep toward the end of the Party. I took a quick look
at the state map and saw Merced, my last holdout, was SE of San Francisco.
Due to my lack of planning (!) I had no clue what kind of challenge I might
face to get this county into the log. I did find K6AQL mobile signing BERN. I
waited for a lull in his callers and queried if he might be headed toward
Merced. His answer was "no". Even so, I believe this was the closest I have
ever come to working all California counties during their Party.
