I could only manage to squeeze in 26 hours due to olive
picking and the missus wanting things doing!
Quite enjoyed doing SO2R, I must admit it keeps you
on your toes, I hardly had time to watch the TV.
Condx were good all round, even had a few Q's on 10m.
Gripes.
Why do some Italian stations insist on sending the full exchange
on answering my CQ !!
Just send your call guys.
And why when I ask for a number repeat do stations send the full
exchange again !! Just send the bloody number.
Gripes over.
And before someone asks {again} why I am using amps for a low power entry.
Too much RF floating around when doing SO2R HP.
My rigs are not running flat out.
I find it easier to stick to the 100 watt limit using the readout on the amps.
