Many thanks to VE3CR for the use of his fine station! This year we wanted to
give the new 40 m. beam a work out, so I did a SOSB on 40. Something I have
never done before, but I figured it would be a good way to learn the band.
Didn't get anywhere near the amount of qsos I wanted but the mults were in line
with expectations.
Worked lots of juicy DX and left a bunch on the table Sunday AM - just couldn't
make it with LP!
Had a great time and really enjoyed myself. Of course the great food provided
by Eric's XYL Sheila is our secret weapon! Heard lots of CCO members on the air
- hope everyone worked lots of stations!
New two element beam on 40 worked great!
Thanks to everyone who made all the DX locations available.
Oddly enough, it's still a jungle out there when you run low power....
