Comments:
First real chance to try out my new 80 m. antenna under battle conditions! Have
to say I was pleased with the performance although 80 m and I have this
love/hate thing going!
Spent a lot of time on 80 Saturday night but devoted considerable time to 40 on
Sunday and was rewarded with some nice runs. 20 m. didn't really impress me much
but I can't complain - 15 was just a small effort at the start of the contest
but did provide Alaska.
Heard a few CCO members on and hope everyone had good success. Bottom line, a
new personal best for me and with plenty of time to spare.
As usual, it's a jungle out there when you run qrp!
