Many, many thanks again to Ken and Rose Kopp (K0PP and N7HKW) for the use of
their great station (K0PP) again. The KT34XA, 2 element 40 and Kenâ??s superb
80/160 vertical played very well. A great addition to the station for this
yearâ??s effort was Kenâ??s construction of K6KVâ??s triplexer (See June 2010
QST). This device allowed the two K3â??s to share the KT34XA in SO2R operation.
There was no interference or problem when running the two rigs on 14 and 20 for
many hours. Thanks Ken, and Gary, for this amazing idea. Missed the VO1 for a
clean sweep. Ah well, next year.
