Comments:
A session in honor of K8DD was most welcome as a reminder of Hank's many
contributions to ham radio and, in particular, his recent enthusiasm for our NS
and NS Ladder. Hank will be missed and remembered.
While planning a more serious 160 m antenna I loaded the 40m D-E Zepp on 160
where it functions as a just greater than 1/4 wave ladder-line fed doublet at
75 feet. As a kind of joke, I called NO3M, who was quite strong, and nearly
fell off the chair when Eric responded. We are hoping to visit Eric on our trip
east for Thanksgiving at Lake Chautauqua, NY.
Will see some of you in the SS this weekend on that other mode.
Three weeks to next ladder.
