Comments:
A good time -
Went to bed early with 72 sections logged. Got the sweep by about 2pm
with VE8EV calling in, and finding KL7RA, both on 20m.
Activity was good, and conditions much better than last year. Logged at least
2 of all sections, only having to tune for KL7 and VO1.
All wire antennas here:
80m NVIS DP
40m DP and Vee beam @ 30'
20m Vee beam and 2 el fixed quad @ 30'
15m Vee beam @ 30' for KL7/VE8
Need to add an RX antenna for 80 (at least); too many of the western stations
were difficult copy in QRM. Also need to spend more time on 40m.
I remain convinced that 90% of being able to run and keep a freq is all about
one's state of mind.
If you think and behave like you are loud, you'll will be.
Great to work many stations with check > 2000; way more than last year.
Let this trend continue!
