We were called away for much of the weekend because our older daughter in
another state suffered an injury and was in the ER there. I only managed 5
hours total time on the air, but was happy to still get 303 QSO's in all
sections except Arkansas on A power!
Conditions seemed pretty good. Was surprised at how loud VE8EV was on 15!
Usual setup:
Icom IC-746 transceiver at 100 watts.
80M all band half wave with tuned feeders for 80-20-15-10M.
40M 3-el inverted V type wire beam aimed west for 40.
