A huge thank you to those who did the heavy lifting on the RX end of my QRP
signals. Lots of fills but I managed to hear and work them all this year for
the Clean Sweep. I worked NT, NL, and ID early. For some reason, WI was tough
to find. MS and RI showed up towards the end.
My antennas were a 20M switched sloper array on the roof, a 2 element 40M quad,
and an 80M inverted V. After working on the quad all week, I came home friday
night to find it helicoptering in a very strong wind atop my AB-577 mast. It
seems I forgot to tighten a couple of u-bolts. After numerous up/downs of the
mast, I had it back together and it played rather well. The Inverted V worked
amazingly well on 80. And the switched slopers did a bang-up job on 20. I
couldn't break any pile-ups. But if I was calling a station alone, I usually
worked them. 73...Pete
