Whew ! My ol' butt is flat...heh heh...Haven't put that many hours into a
contest since the 80's.
Murphy found me...power was out 3 times this weekend but luckily never more
than an hour or so. Once, I just went to bed-HI ! needed the rest anyways.
Lots of really good ears out there.
A certain big W2 must've had amp problems as they tore up the bottom of 40 for
a few hours, even though they weren't really loud (s1-2)...later they sounded
great, so hope they got that ironed out. Was like the trashy spready
spectrum-ouch !!..hi
Never could break the VK6AA pileup for zone 29 and AH2R couldn't get my prefix
right for zone 27, otherwise I worked nearly everything I was able to copy at
decent levels. A few BA's were in here as well as JT5DX, but all quite weak.
A lot of fun...was only in it to try and match a Maritime SO40HP record and I
think I did that.
IC-746 250Hz filter,broken elbow, MLA-2500(749.99w) & HB GP 4' off the ground
