Running QRP on a mostly dead band is quite a challenge. 10M propagation for
this contest was poor. Band dead at 00z at contest start. 1st signals heard
1430z, only 3 readable on the whole band. Slight opening with new call signs at
1630z worked 15 in an hour. From 1930-2345 when band faded out, only worked 14
Q's in 4 hours. On Sunday morning band was a little better. Caught ZL, ZL8, VK
on very short sunset peak Sunday morning 1430-1624z worked 29 in 1.74 hours,
bagging only 1 EU (TM6), and 4 in Africa: C5, 9L, D4, EA8 then had to QRT rest
of day.
