Comments:

Finally strung up a 160 meter antenna with stuff I had laying around in the
garage. It's a sloper fed at ground level with 4 radials. The radiator is
from an old Alpha-Delta sloper I had up a long time ago. It's heavily loaded
(I think it's about 60 ft long total), and I have the end strung up into a tree
at about 35 ft. My main mission was to see what I could work with such a
crummy antenna. I was very surprised to be able to work TM6M on 160 - he must
have an incredible receive antenna to be able to hear my 100W to a wet noodle.
Was able to work Canadians and some Caribbean on 160 pretty easily though.
Just dabbled around here and there in between a lot of other stuff. Listened
more than I called... Antenna for 80 through 10 is a Hustler 6BTV ground
mounted on 24 radials.

Whisper)
