Ole Murphy usually stays away from here, but early (2am( he made
an appearance. PL259 at center conductor of my inverted vee went
up in smoke....so lost a few hours from 2am til sunrise...Nice
that I had all day to get it fixed...so could go at it all night.
Score way off from last year...not sure if the off time hurt
that much or just condx and activity this year...
Was getting a bit worried about the sweep (less NWT) again
needing SB and AK.....found W6TK early Sunday morning along
with several others and Ole Faithful, Rich, KL7RA called me
with about an hour to go til sunrise....
Several PAC's but only one PR - KP4G and one VI - KV4FZ..
I think I heard VE8EV for just a few seconds but was never
real sure and didn't even try to call....Never have gotten
all of 'em.
