Comments:
Put automatic repeating CQ on while reading newspaper. Would get spurts of
responders, and just kept operating and operating.
Have bad power line noise, but have an antenna on a side of a hill that has
little noise, and used it for receiving. It favors east.
Had 46 states, so put a picture of a moose next to an ashtray with some burning
weeds that smelled like incense, in an effort to attract an Alaskan. KL8DX soon
called in (got KL7RA later). And to think, there are people who don't believe
in this stuff!
Arranged a potato, a picture of a lobster, and an ice cube, in an attempt to
lure Idaho, Maine, and North Dakota with no success. Assume I exhausted my
karma with the KL7 ploy.
Worked two HI-stations when it would have been after midnight their time.
Worked a "YO4" who was too loud to believe unless this was 10 years ago. 10
meters is an interesting band.
