Comments:

Tried to put in a big effort this year, the band was really amazing. I had
planned on mixed mode, but after turning the radio on friday nite I found 10
meters sounding more like 20 meters,I decided to try cw only. Running 5 watts,
calling cq was a waste of time, so 282 out of 283 were worked on their cq.
Heard ZS6, Z21, but couldnt break the pile. Highlights were working states of
Maine and PA on the east coast after 0400z friday nite, the only ne coast
stations heard the entire test. Dx worked included
VK,ZL,FO8,KL7,KH6,WP2,WP3,LU,PY,OA,CX,CE,HC,PJ2,V31, worked just about every
thing I could hear. Lastly, I tripled my mixed score from last year, so hope I
can win Texas anyway, had a blast, next year I may have to get a logging
program, HI HI. 73, Dan WG5G.
