FT-990 100W to Alpha Delta DX-LB apex 40' ends at 25' broadside N/S & WriteLog.
9-hours S&P @ 20.667 QOH, 1-hour RUN @ 36 QPH. Missed CT, RI, and VT heard, DC
and ID not heard. Worked usual VE's except that VE7's were called, and would
blow my call/State (weak huh!). DX: C6, CU, EA8. KH6, KP4. P4. PJ2. V3, and
XE. Tried KV4, HI3 to no avail.
RX Noise here was S5 to S7 ... am sure I could have heard more DX if the line
noise (Its a rural cooperative - yuck) would go away. Tiny lot, no room for
any low-noise systems. For a city-size lot, very compromise antenna and line
noise... this was my best 160 performance in many years.
