Local boys on 20. tnx K7WA, NN7SS.
40 was fine, then quickly ran dry. Nice surprise mult from ART in VI !
this COULD be the first NS w/o a TN in the log on any band.
80 was SO FRUSTRATING... !! got up and left the room... for every 10 called,
would get one answer. Seemed like a wet blanket had been thrown over the NW
corner of the country. Clearly hearing the whole country and nary a reply to
calls... can feel sympathy for KL7 and VE7s who go thru this all the time.
... turned on the TV, with 10m to go... the heck w/ it ! watched a couple of
minutes.. and then talked myself back to the shack.
came back w/ 5m to go and got on 160 til the end.
sheesh... cant wait til we have 20m back again....then 80 wont be so
tough...just a few locals and on to 160 for the same, at the end.
OK....feelin better now.. cant wait til next Thursday !
