That was fun.
Had less than 70 QSOs on the first day. Assisted Multiop crew at KB1H with 20m
'Glove Repair' of lower 20m antenna, Feedline repair and re-pinning the Top 20m
and broken 80m vertical feeder problem.
Put the effort into the SSB Sprint Sat night. It is too bad about the
conflicting contests with this one. The participants were suggesting stopping
the SSB Sprint due to lack of participation. The RTTY 'Major' is probably the
biggest problem. The other problem I had was actually 'finding' stations, not
entirely because they were not there, but I didn't know where to look. (W1UJ =
Newer SSB guy) The suggested frequencies in the rules were no-where near where I
was having QSOs.
On Sunday, the XYL took off for lunch dates and I had the shack for the
taking!
Went to breakfast with my Dad, and hit the shack in early afternoon.
Ran 15m until I wanted to make a band change from 20 back to 15, thats where
the amplifier failed...... Replaced glitch resistor some biasing parts and was
back up in less than 1.5 hours.

Worked the 2nd radio very hard.
Then I turned to the Getscores.org website, it was, as usual, motivating.
Catching up to my Barnstormer team-mate NR1X, but falling short of passing him-
Always looking at the next guy 'up'. This is probably the first time I stayed
in from looking at Getscores. I probably would've quit at the amplifier
failure.
Original goal was 100k points, final missed goal was catching NR1X.
Always nice to work YCCCers and Thursday NS CW Sprinters.
