Hello all,
Decided to run QRP this contest, ran 3 watts from the Mark V into my my new
Bobtail for twenty meters(TNX Ted!) Used the loop for 15, 40, and 80.
Unfortunately, my heart was not in the contest because I had to care for my 15
year old lab that I wound up putting down Saturday. Anyway, did not see any
other LCCC members on air, very surprised that I did not run into Dave and
Alex. Friday night I observed that there was a very nice opening into EU on 40,
and also a nice opening to Asia Sunday evening on both 20 and 15 meters. tried
to work a few Asian stations but alas, QRP was not getting through with all the
QRM from the "big guns".
