Comments:

We went back to Saba for obvious reasons. It just recently became a new DXCC
entity and we expected lots of demand especially if we could get some openings
on 10m as we made very few QSOs on that band in October. Also, we wanted to
try out a new QTH and lastly have some fun in the contest. Mission
accomplished ! 10m was wide open and we spent lots of time before and after the
contest handing out a new band country. During the contest we made a
significant number of QSO's there. The new QTH worked out very well and with
a tribander at 25 feet and wires for the low bands did pretty darn well. We are
pleased with our results against some of the long established contest stations
in the Caribbean. Next time, we hope to have some gain antennas on the low
bands and then we can really be competitive. BTW, congratulations to those who
apparently set new world records during the contest.
