Major QLF tonight. I was really rolling along (at least for me!) until I made
my first 160 Q. The computer crashed just after I answered a CQ, so hand sent
the next one, then called CQ while waiting the LONG 30 seconds for the DOS
computer to reboot. When it started back up, I typed in the wrong batch file
to start my logging program and inadvertently brought up a previous NS which
just happened to be at exactly the same number I left off with (otherwise I
hope I would have caught it immediately). I made a few Qs and then started
getting "DUPES" which I knew weren't dupes and it really threw me off. Sorry
for the confusion and missed Qs. Another great contesting lesson learned.
I really appreciate having next week to try it once again!
