Was hoping for a serious effort but whoever schedules Mother's Day didn't check
the contest calendar first. Most of Saturday afternoon was spent helping the
kids get ready for Mother's Day, then the dishwasher sprung a leak. Lost at
least 5 hours of prime 15/20m time dealing with these events.
Bands seemed in pretty decent shape, soem huge signals out of 7-land at times.
It must be just the right distance for F1 hops. However, listened to W0BH at
times and he was hearing things that I wasn't hearing, so location, location,
location.
On a lark, checked 10m hoping that maybe there was a sporadic E opening.
Nothing was heard when suddenly N9RV popped out of nowhere. Perhaps if others
had tried...
Great fun as always and some fantastic county dxpeditions always make this
fun.
