Comments:
Wow, conditions a real let down after a pretty good spring for sunspots. If it
weren't for working W's there would have been a lot of unanswered CQ's.
No 15 to Asia to start, but 20m to Asia was at least decent the first night
when most JA's were worked, with a nice sprinkling of BY's and other stuff.
Only worked a handful of EU on 40, with JA nonexistent the first night.
Still working through 2-radio problems here. Need to rethink the filtering and
start throwing some money at this problem, because just re-hooking up my
Indiana stuff isn't working!
I agree with K5ZD that the operating was first class -- everyone was very
careful repeating serial numbers and I can't remember any frequency fights or
phantom QSO's.
Congratulations to KL9A at NK7U for a monster score. He even loaned me his
call so I could make him look good. :-)
In the old days, this would be the end of contest season until fall. But in
this modern age we have a contest every weekend of some kind. I know I am
taking the summer off (except maybe IARU!).
