Comments:
Under aurora-type conditions, worked everything I could hear on 80m with 200 w
except PT2CM. One good run each night on 80m. 80m conditions seemed fairly
good, but there was a disappointing lack of activity. HK3O remained S-9+ for
hours, but there just weren't many DX stations. The Beverage provided a huge
signal/noise gain, even tho pointed toward Eu. Best station improvement ever
for me.
With such a low point total for 80 I tried to run the score up midday Sunday on
20m; as others have commented, conditions were horrible. Just 3 Eu in the log.
Equipment: FT-1000MP MkV at 200 watts
40m DE Zepp at about 60 feet
650 ft unterminated Beverage toward Eu
