Comments:
We tried a WRTC type competition with W5CT (N5AW who was a competitor at 2010
WRTC in Russia) since he is in Austin and not too far from us in Houston. The
lock system setup worked very well even though we had some major antenna
issues, but it all worked out fine and we didn't blow up any rigs which is
truely amazing since to you have two rigs playing into one tribander (through a
triplexer of course). We will have some bonus points on top of this score, but
not many because we were really just trying to maximize our base score to
compete with N5AW. Lots of fun and we ONLY had temps in the mid 90s as opposed
to three straight days of 105 degrees in 2009.
